Al Mubashir Mechanical Contracting LLC

EV Charger Installation

An EV charger isn't a plug-and-play appliance, it's a dedicated circuit that has to sit within your property's existing electrical capacity. We assess your supply, confirm the right charger for the car and install it safely, whether it's a villa driveway or a shared parking bay.

Why Al Mubashir

Why customers choose us for EV Charger

Load assessment before charger choice

We confirm the DB and incoming supply can carry the charger, rather than fitting a unit that trips the moment the AC and oven run together.

One team for electrical work around the charger

If the cable run needs a new circuit, trenching or a DB upgrade, we handle it in the same visit instead of coordinating another contractor.

Home, villa and commercial installs

From a single wall-box in a garage to load-balanced chargers across a parking bay, we scope both scales.

Safety-first wiring for continuous loads

EV charging pulls near-maximum current for hours at a time, we cable and protect the circuit accordingly.

Built for UAE conditions

How the UAE climate shapes this work

EV adoption across Dubai and Abu Dhabi has moved much faster than the electrical capacity in many older villas was originally sized for, so a home EV charger often needs a DB upgrade or a properly rated dedicated circuit rather than a straight tap into an existing spare breaker. Installs that involve DEWA, ADDC or SEWA coordination, particularly for higher-power chargers in shared parking, have their own approval process that we plan around before starting the install.

How it works

A simple, transparent process

  1. 1

Tell us the car and where you want to charge

Vehicle model, driveway or parking location, and any preference on charger brand help us scope quickly.

  2. 2

    Supply and cable-route check

We check the incoming supply, DB capacity and cable route before recommending a charger and circuit.

  3. 3

Quote with charger, cable and any DB work

You'll see the cost of the charger, the electrical work and any coordination needed, upfront.

  4. 4

    Install, test and commission

We fit the charger, energise it, test with the vehicle where possible and confirm it charges cleanly before handover.

FAQs

EV Charger questions, answered

How do I know if my villa can support an EV charger?

We'll do a site visit and check the DB and incoming supply. In most cases something can be installed, sometimes it needs a DB upgrade first.

What's the difference between a 7 kW and 22 kW charger?

22 kW charges roughly three times faster but needs a three-phase supply, which not every villa has. We'll confirm which fits your property.

Can you install a charger in a shared apartment parking bay?

Often yes, but shared parking installs usually need building or owners-association permission and DEWA/ADDC coordination, we'll walk you through it.

Do you install any brand of charger?

We can install most common home wall-box brands, tell us what you're considering and we'll confirm compatibility with your supply.

How long does the install itself take?

A straightforward home install often finishes in a day, jobs that need a DB upgrade or a long cable run take longer, we'll give you a realistic estimate.
